As a member of Amazon’s HR Services team, the Compliance Specialist, will support our business through the administration and management of compliance related reports and data for Japan. The role holder will manage the day-to-day administration of the program, establish robust audit and controls, and develop supporting documentation. The role specific responsibilities will include:
· Deliver daily operation services for national ID management process for Japan employees and audit · Support Vendor Management – taking the lead but also supporting local HR leads / teams for vendor which manages legally required information such as MyNumber · Deliver regional and local reports as required both quantitative and qualitative (eg government requested report) on a pre-determined schedule. · Maintain a framework with regard to operational risks actioning internal checks / audits and reporting against these and escalating as required. Working closely with the global lead as required. · Monitor and report against agreed SLAs and KPIs, providing root cause analysis and remediation where these are not hit · Support communications, FAQs, process documentation, and other related written work · Identify areas for improvement and take ownership of implementing changes · Respond to questions from and troubleshoot process issues experienced by employees, managers, and HR · Support on-site and virtual compliance audits, produce audit reports detailing methodology, results, and remediation plans · Participate new compliance projects as needs arise

5+ years of experience working in an audit/compliance / HR related role Bachelor degree Fluent spoken and written English Reporting and Analytics Experience
Experience creating government required report and supporting documentation Customer service orientation with ability to serve multiple customers (business leaders and multiple levels of HR business partners) Ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in setting and managing expectations Problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when necessary - sense of accountability and sound professional judgment Proven analytical capabilities; experience with large amounts of data and in developing audit reports, metrics, and reporting vehicles
