    JPCS ACES* L&D Manager (L5) *ACES: Amazon Customer Excellence System

    This position reports directly to JPCS ACES Sr. Manager with a functional reporting line to WW ACES L&D Program Manager.

    The JPCS ACES L&D Manager will possess basic understanding of ACES continuous improvement methodologies and a passion for teaching Kaizen stakeholders about methodologies that improve and innovate on behalf of the customer. The ACES L&D Manager, together with local ACES managers, will make sure of the effectiveness of JPCS ACES Program from the perspective of ACES learning and development program. The Manager will become part of a WW team that will be working to:
    - Elevate the continuous improvement capability of CS
    - Provide standard work within our own ACES processes globally
    - Offer an ACES certification program for CS
    - Continuously improve ACES tools through simplification work to ensure our ACES teams are masters at the ACES tools (both teaching and using).

    The manager will closely communicate and collaborate with the WW team as the JP representative to give inputs, contribute to the L&D program development, and lead the implementation of agreed initiatives locally. This manager will always be aware of the maturity of the local program effectiveness and have a keen insight of improvement opportunities. The success factor of this position is to be able to consider the best optimized JP L&D program, while aligning with WW L&D team, by closely communicating with key stakeholders in CS Ops and ACES teams cross-functionally. This position requires a candidate with a good leadership ability supported by the local ACES management to facilitate and guide the application of ACES methods within CS network.

    Location: This role can be located at any one of the following CS Sites: SDJ10, KKJ10, HND11

    · Work on activities as the leadership development and talent management POC with local ACES management.
    · Share the WW CS ACES L&D strategy to align with local ACES activity roadmap.
    · Work closely with the WW L&D team to ensure alignment and adoption of best practices.
    · Update the latest standard working process and definition of the ACES work model.
    · Teach and instruct Kaizen participants on the latest ACES Kaizen methodologies.
    · Evaluate learning materials ensuring they are effective, current and relevant.
    · Actively participate in the discussion to determine the skills needed to develop strong ACES leaders within JPCS ACES.
    · Take ownership to develop and execute regional specific trainings with local ACES management.
    · Take ownership to develop facilitator guides, participant guides, and Power Point decks to support the learning opportunities within Standard Work, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, and Leader Development, with local ACES managmenet.
    · Act as POC of ad-hoc ACES trainings to JPCS teams as appropriate (eg. class room).
    · Support local ACES management to collaborate with Regional Leaders to define, prioritize and plan the deployment of ACES Standard Work, ensuring this supports the process improvement projects being delivered by Operations and ACES teams.
    · Actively assist local ACES management to implement ACES Standard Work Implementation within JP network.
    · Conduct post-learning evaluations to understand successes and improvement opportunities for the designed training.
    · Communicate with WW L&D team to share best practices, learnings and ideas.

    Basic Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:
    · Business English and Japanese fluency to communicate with the World Wide team via telephone conference, writing/verbal communication, etc.
    · Experience of collaborative work with multiple nationalities.
    · Cross-functional project management experience
    · Process Improvement experience via kaizen
    · Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
    · Basic knowledge of analytical tools and their applications – 7 Quality tools, Hypothesis Test, Regression Analysis
    · Self-starter capable to take initiative and work with minimal direction.
    · Experience of training in both a classroom environment and on-the-job in any format
    · Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and Office products

    Preferred Qualifications

    Preferred Qualifications:
    · A completed Bachelor’s Degree.
    · Six Sigma Certifications
    · Project Management Certification a plus
    · LMS (e.g., Cornerstone) administration experience including eLearning publishing and learning assessments.

    [Salary Information]
    Monthly basic salary: 562,500 yen or more             (Your annual basic salary will be paid by twelve (12) equal installments.)  
    Your basic salary includes the amount equal to the overtime work allowances for 70 hours of your overtime   work, as overtime work allowances, midnight work allowances and statutory holiday work allowances (the   “Fixed Premium Wages”).
    If the actual amount of the overtime work allowances, midnight work allowances and statutory holiday work allowances exceeds the amount of the Fixed Premium Wages, the company shall pay you the balance.

    Reference Example: If the basic salary is 562,500 yen,   the Fixed Premium Wages will be 363,636 yen, and the basic salary excluding the Fixed Premium Wages is 198,864 yen.
