    Amazon Global Selling (AGS) in Japan is looking for a senior product manager for Global Logistics. AGS is operating in 11 countries and each year, thousands of businesses join the marketplace adding millions of new products available for customers to contribute our vision, to offer Earth’s biggest selection.
    AGS Japan is supporting out-of-country Sellers to start selling on Amazon Japan, to add new products, to grow their business through Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and Seller Fulfilled Shipping. In your role as a senior product manager for AGS Global Logistics, you are expected to 1) understand frictions which out-of-country Sellers face when shipping items to Japan for both FBA and Seller fulfilled and communicate them with key stakeholders across countries, 2) participate world-wide roadmap creation process led by US product management team, and 3) launch new solutions which address the friction to Japan and drive Seller adoption. This role is cross-functional, you will work closely with international teams in product management, engineering, sales and leadership to bring the solution to out-of-country Sellers in Japan. You will also have chances to work with external parties for collecting feedback and building a partnership for better solutions.
    A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work efficiently with multiple stakeholders whom you work with and demonstrate a strong Ownership and Insist on the Highest Standard attitudes at work.
    Your responsibilities will include:
    1. Identifying opportunities and create business cases to implement global logistics solutions, supported by data analysis and Seller feedback.
    2. Writing business and technical requirements documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business and development teams.
    3. Launch new solution in coordination with business partners in the US, China and other marketplaces, finance partners, sales and marketing and expand Seller usage of the solution.
    4. Develop a long term plan to scale Seller business with global logistics products.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 4+ years experiences in project management with international teams
    • 3+ years experiences in business development
    • 5+ years experiences in data analysis by using Excel and SQL
    • Candidates must be fluent in English
    • Candidates must be fluent in either Japanese or Chinese
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skill with multiple internal stakeholders to earn their trust.
    • Excellent data analytic skill with utilizing Excel and SQL to extract relevant data sets from Data Ware House.
    • Experience gathering and analyzing large amounts of data and delivering continuous business improvements.
    • Outstanding problem solving skill with logical presentation.
    • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
    • Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional capacity.
    • A strong appetite for teamwork, and a just-do-it attitude.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in e-commerce industries
    • Experiences in working closely with teams with diverse cultural backgrounds
