Amazon Points is Amazon’s rewards program, currently offered exclusively in Japan. Amazon Points is one of Amazon’s most strategic initiatives in Japan where sizable segment of customers is passionate about points. Amazon Points aims to drive business growth and customer engagement across consumer products (e.g., books, electronics, sporting goods, fashion and food) and digital products (e.g., Kindle books).
As a Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) on the Amazon Points team,
you will be responsible for collecting business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing the production launch. You will also be responsible for setting project management standards and expectations and delivering large, cross functional projects. You will tackle challenging, novel situations and work with Japan senior management and technical teams across Amazon. You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that is higher than most projects and relish the idea of solving problems that, frankly, haven’t been solved at scale before.
