Amazon China is seeking an innovative, analytical and results-oriented Talent Program Manager to join the China Corporate HR team. The role is ultimately responsible for helping the organization function as effectively as possible through talent management processes and talent development solutions to assess current and future workforce needs, delivering manager and employee development processes and programs, and helping ensure new and existing employees understand and are aligned to the Amazon China culture.
In this position, you will partner closely with HR Business Partners, Consumer Talent Management, Learning & Development, and business leaders, requiring the ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as cross-functionally. The main responsibilities include, but not just limit to the following:
-- Implement Corporate and Consumer Talent Management processes and programs to ensure the seamless communication, consistent understanding and smooth execution of company-wide processes, policies and practices
-- Understand business priorities and the various needs of the population, design, implement and scale programs and processes in line with changing business needs
-- Work with country HR lead on HR planning and review, such as 3-year plan, Operation Plan, HR goal setting, QBR (Quarterly Biz Review), etc.
-- Lead HR programs initiation and drive implementation at country level by partnering with HRBPs and L&D team
-- Analyze data to gain the insights of people and organization
To be successful, the person in this role will need to demonstrate analytical capabilities and influence others with a combination of data-driven recommendations as well as think strategically. The ability to “invent and simplify” is particularly important as well. The person must be able to interface effectively with professionals at all levels, communicate effectively, achieve the right results and be able to thrive in a fast paced environment. The right candidate will have a track record of project management in the areas of learning and development, talent management, culture, and change management, from conception and design through implementation, measurement and continuous improvement.
