    Strategic Account Manager – Amazon Publisher Services
    [Tokyo, Japan]

    Amazon’s Advertising technology team builds the technology infrastructure and ad serving systems to manage billions of advertising queries every day. The result is better quality advertising for publishers and more relevant ads for customers. Our infrastructure supports millions of Internet users and handles billions of queries per day, all delivered in milliseconds. Our data platform processes massive data sets to develop business intelligence and analytics that are critical for the efficiency and profitability of our advertising business.

    We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join the Amazon Publisher Services team in Tokyo, Japan to help build industry-leading solutions for publishers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to join Amazon’s quickly growing advertising business, own strategic relationships with branded publishers, and drive strategy and adoption of our industry-leading publisher solutions.

    • Own all phases of the partner relationship.
    • Monitor daily partner performance against key metrics to identify opportunities and anomalies.
    • Work with partners to ensure a smooth tech integration and launch, act as a bridge between business development and technical teams at A9 and the partner.
    • Prioritize and help scope product features and enhancements with our Product Management team.
    • Run partner business reviews to gather market feedback about monetization and product features.
    • Track monthly spend allocations and manage monthly payment reconciliation process.

    • 実装支援から広告収益を最大化するための業務全般を担当
    • パートナーとの定例会議にて、オンライン広告市場の情報やプロダクトについて社内にフィードバック
    • 社内外のエンジニアと連携しJS/SDK実装をサポート
    • コンサルティングや改善提案、レポーティングの実施
    • プロダクト機能や開発優先順位をプロダクトチームへフィードバック
    • 広告収益支払いの管理及びサポート

    Basic Qualifications

    • At least 5 years of experience in online advertising.
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and experience in working with large data sets
    • Native level Japanese and business level English in both written and spoken.
    • Ability to communicate effectively across a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • At least 3 years of experience in account management/client services.
    • Bachelor’s degree is required

    • 5年以上インターネット広告業界での経験
    • データ分析経験
    • ビジネスレベル以上の英語力 、英語での実務経験
    • 営業、技術、経理など様々な担当者との対人・コミュニケーション能力
    • 3年以上アカウントマネージメント、クライアントサービス業務を経験
    • 4年制大学学士号

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Direct experience in media buying/selling or yield/revenue management.
    • Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues with developers/engineers.
    • Flexible team-player who will thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment.
    • Proactive attitude with excellent project, organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to write clear and concise summaries of analytical insights for senior management and other team members.
    • Mobile experience and excellent knowledge of the mobile advertising landscape.
