    Amazon Prime Video is looking for a forward-thinking, analytically minded strategic marketer to join our team. The Strategic Planning Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing strategies that support Prime Video in JP. The role requires developing a holistic understanding of the business to build a marketing strategy and program that can impact both short & long-term customer and commercial impact.

    • Manage strategic marketing planning and initiatives in JP
    • Determine marketing calendar and align plans within Prime Video locally as well as other Amazon marketing organizations.
    • Own the marketing budgeting and be the key contact for both finance as well as the marketing teams regarding the budget
    • Manage and run our business review processes and documents (WBR, MBR, QBR)
    • Collaborate closely with acquisition and engagement marketing teams to develop initiatives to meet timely execution of strategic titles and tactics.
    • Provide objective marketing recommendations based on an in-depth understanding and analysis of customer and environmental information.
    • Monitor and track competitive performance and provide regular updates on competitor developments

    Basic Qualifications

    • Significant experience in marketing strategy or related roles in positions of increasing responsibility.
    • Proven ability to develop and execute high impact marketing activities that change consumer perception and behavior, while delivering strong return on investment
    • Ability to creatively think about different problems and devise pragmatic solutions using data and insights.
    • Track record of delivering global projects as a leader of a cross functional team.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to drive toward consensus.
    • Exceptional persuasive written/verbal communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to build logical story flow, particularly in written narrative form.
    • Eagerness to present the facts and put forth new hypotheses in the face of differing opinions.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Preferred industry and background: IT, Finance, Consulting, Consumables
    • Knowledge of TV & Film, entertainment trends and new platforms
    • Strong leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly across all levels and multiple functions in an organization. Management consultant level written and verbal communication and listening skills
    • Have demonstrated skill at initiating, managing and growing strategic partnerships with third parties, including navigating complex and creative co-marketing arrangements with partners
    • Demonstrated ability to work with global technology and business teams
    • Demonstrated track record of creative problem solving; thinks big, starts small, and grows fast
