Prime Video is seeking a Paid Offers Strategy Manager
to drive the overall marketing strategy for our quickly growing paid content offerings, which currently include transactional video on demand (TVOD) and Amazon Channels.
As the Strategy Manager, you will own the overall marketing plan for both our TVOD and Channels offer types. In this important role within the team, you will focus your efforts on getting a better understanding of who are current and potential customers are and then address their needs by building a holistic marketing strategy and plan. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to diving deep into understanding who are current customers are and what their behavior is, identifying potential customer traits, finding the best communication to approach our customers, and building the short/medium/long-term plan for the offer types. You will partner with internal senior business leaders, the internal marketing channels, the global marketing and product teams, and external research agencies to understand the needs of the business, develop ongoing programs to drive insights, conduct customer research, and deliver strategic recommendations to senior leaders. This role sits on the Prime Video Strategy and Planning team.
The successful candidate will have passion for content and experience in marketing plans for a business. The candidate must have demonstrated sound business judgment and be able to think strategically and creatively, while at the same time have a proven track record of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Keys to success include exceptional analytical, communication, writing, and project management skills, along with a focus on details and a drive for improvement. Responsibilities:
- Customer Deep Dive: Understand the current and potential customers for these offer types via data and research to create actionable insights
- Creation of the Marketing Plan: Design, execute, and manage the short/medium/long-term marketing plan for these offer types
- Campaigns and Programs: Work with the internal and global teams to create campaigns and programs that continue to drive the growth of the businesses
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relations with stakeholders to understand priorities, define the roadmap, and collaborate on ongoing needs
