You can help change the future of video entertainment in Japan! We’re searching for an experienced and passionate Trade and Partnerships Manager to build partnerships between Amazon Prime Video and the biggest brands in Japan and deliver impactful brand partnership marketing programs.

As Senior Trade and Partnerships Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating the strategic direction for effectively promoting Prime Video through large-scale partnerships with well-known brands in Japan, executing against your strategy to the highest standard to deliver impactful campaigns with demonstrable mutually positive impact for Prime Video and our new partners.
This is a new role within the Prime Video marketing team and you will bring with you years of experience and expertise in Business Development or Partnership Marketing which you will use to define Prime Video’s brand partnerships strategy and drive significant impact to the Prime Video business. You are adept at thinking big and keen to challenge the status quo in order to move the dial for your business. You have a proven track record of building and maintaining excellent partner relationships across industries. As a result of the broad scope and critical nature of the channel you will interact at all levels of seniority in the company, presenting and influencing up to the VP-level.
You’ll be a passionate advocate of Prime Video’s best-in-market digital video subscription content selection, with a natural ability for creating productive partner relationships, an instinct for selecting appropriate partners with aligned values, and an aptitude for creating and delivering compelling brand partner marketing campaigns. You will have a passion for big, strategic thinking while also enjoying ownership of ongoing program delivery.
The role: · Build and maintain excellent relationships with brand partners as well as internal stakeholders. · Develop and gain alignment on Prime Video’s trade and partnerships strategy in Japan. · Create evolving plans to deliver against your strategy and present ongoing progress regularly to senior leadership. · Execute against your plan to the highest standards and deliver regular analysis demonstrating the value of your program to the business. · Drive the implementation of new, scalable marketing programs in partnership with well-known Japanese brands as well as other Amazon teams across the global organization.
· Bilingual, confident communicator in spoken and written English and Japanese · 5+ years experience in Business Development and/or Partnership Marketing in Japan · Experience with offline and online marketing campaigns · Team player with ability to excel in an ambiguous environment · Ability to prioritise workload and deliver results against multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting · Strong attention to detail · Able to use metrics to drive rationale, discover root causes and identify opportunities · Solid experience of Excel
· 10+ years experience in Business Development and/or Partnership Marketing in Japan · Experience with testing and statistics
