Amazon’s Consumer Payments Japan organization is seeking an experienced Sr. Marketing Manager who is passionate about leading a team to drive change within the Consumer Payments organization. . In this role, you will be responsible for owning marketing across our Payment Products, Payment Acceptance and Gift Card business with a focus on driving new customer acquisition for our proprietary payment products (Co-brand Credit Cards, Gift Cards, etc) along with using marketing campaigns and machine learning to drive migration towards payment products that provide better value to our customers and lower costs to Amazon. You will ground your approach with direct customer research and campaign analytics, partnering with our product managers and data scientists to drive the best experience to Amazon customers.
As a marketing leader at Amazon, all innovations start with the customer and work backwards. This approach requires a wide range of experience. Strong writing skills are required to convey your product vision through the value delivered to the end customer. Expect to dive deep into customer metrics, competitive benchmarking and payments data to inform your marketing strategy. You will work with a cross functional team within Amazon including but not limited to product management, engineering, customer service, payment acceptance, customer marketing and the broader retail organization.
Day to day:
Lead the Japan Consumer Payments marketing team to drive campaigns designed to acquire new customers and optimize the payment experience for our customers.
- Dive deep to understand our payment products and the tools available to drive new customer acquisition
- Partner with our product managers to lead campaigns and recommend marketing needs in our product roadmap
- Define, track and analyze customer metrics to track your campaigns and drive ongoing improvement
