    AMS (Amazon Marketing Services: ams.amazon.co.jp) is a new self-service advertising platform for brands selling on Amazon. With CPC search and display advertising products, AMS helps brands reach their target audience and increase their presence and sales on Amazon.co.jp. The team to support this fast-growing new business is expanding and we are searching for a dynamic leader with strong ownership and analytical skills.

    We are hiring a strong Sr. Marketing Program Manager to define and lead 1-to-many marketing activities to support advertiser engagement on AMS. In this role, you will work with the local business teams (advertising and retail), but also share best practices and discuss strategies with counterparts based in Seattle HQ and EU. Along with the team’s growth, you will have opportunities to evolve and build your career in digital advertising.

    The newly created AMS Engagement team serves as an expert to increase top advertisers and internal account management teams’ knowledge of the platform, providing consultation, training, best practices and concrete advice based on data analysis. Along with 1-to-1 engagement account managers focusing on developing key accounts, this 1-to-many engagement role will be the key to empower the team through deep product expertise and scalable marketing programs.

    Concretely, this includes: creating and sending e-mails to the advertiser database, creating the content for and conducting advanced webinars, conducting onsite seminars, localizing advertising campaign optimization playbooks and videos, providing benchmarks and category insights and performance data. You will keep testing and learning, measure ROI and define priorities based on impact and customer satisfaction.

    Consequently, we are searching for someone that thinks strategically but is also very hands-on and executes with high standards.     Basic Qualifications

    - University graduate
    - Strong business to fluent English and native Japanese
    - Experience of content creation and delivery through online channels.
    - 5+ years of work experience as B2B marketing manager in the digital or IT industry
    - 12+ years of total work experience.
    - Strong data extraction and analytical skills.
    - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Preferred Qualifications
    - Account manager experience in search/display advertising, in a media agency or publisher
    - MBA
    - Experience with search advertising platform like Google AdWords and online tracking tools like Google Analytics
    - Experience with online e-mail or webinar platforms (e.g. Marketo, Pardot, Adobe Connect)
    - SQL, HTML or other programming skills.
