Business Skills Needed:

The Amazon Digital Music team is looking for a motivated, customer-obsessed, analytical site merchandiser to drive engagement with Prime Music and Amazon Music Unlimited. This role will own the strategy and execution of driving customer acquisition and engagement from across the Amazon. This role will be responsible for scheduling content on home pages, category pages, and pages across the site, compile and analyze traffic and other web metrics, and report on performance to our management teams. To do so, the successful candidate will partner closely with key Amazon teams, including consumer marketing team, technical teams, and site merchandisers across Amazon retail and digital categories. This position is responsible for providing a best-in-class customer experience across multiple platforms and services.

This ideal candidate will deliver a set of high-priority strategic initiatives that bring Digital Music visibility and/or integrate Digital Music itself into the Amazon shopping and browsing experience. You will execute programs to deliver these and quantify business results with data-driven analyses. You will need to be entrepreneurial and roll up your sleeves. Overall, you will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas, and establish best practices for Digital Music.

Specific Responsibilities:
・Obsess over customers and how they engage with Amazon on the Amazon website, mobile and application.
・Create and schedule individual merchandising campaigns for Digital Music across website, mobile devices, and music apps
・Ownership of highly visible programs and projects including responsibility for measuring and analyzing the performance and identifying new opportunities based on customer and business data
・Understand various levers we have for improving customer engagement and conversion, analyze current performance on those levers and implement initiatives for improvement
・Document results and share best-practices across Amazon Digital Music’s worldwide organization

Basic Qualifications

・ 教育レベル:大卒以上
・ 職務経験:オンラインマーケティング、マーケティングコミュニケーション、プロダクトマネジメントなど(3年以上が望ましい)
・ コミュニケーション力:関連部署と密にコミュニケーションをとり、シニアマネジメント層とも円滑なコミュニケーションができる。
・ ITリテラシー:新しいシステムやソフトウェアへの理解力と適合力があり、日常業務で活用できる。

・Bachelor’s degree
・3+ years of relevant work experience in online marketing, marketing communications, product management, and/or consumer products and services
・Knowledge of Excel and demonstrated experience using data and metrics to measure performance and determine improvements
・Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
・Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot inefficient, unreliable processes
・Ability to deliver on multiple deadlines and prioritize compulsively as a self-directed individual, comfortable with a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
・Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English
・Comfortable with a varied set of software and editing tools and ability to learn new tools quickly

・Familiarity with SQL, databases, and web metrics
・Basic knowledge and experience with web authoring tools and willingness to learn both HTML and XML code if necessary in order to enhance or improve customer experiences
・Intuition for customer communication voice; adept at marketing copywriting
・Experience managing large scale marketing programs and writing customer-facing content

・Passion for music and technology and the confluence of the two
