On September 20th 2017, Amazon.co.jp announced the launch of “Amazon Business”, a new marketplace to meet the procurement needs of businesses of every size – from small business to large multi-national organization, as well as institutional buyers like universities, schools and public offices. “Amazon Business” customers benefit from a range of business-tailored features such as Pay by Invoice, and reporting and analytics to gain visibility into how their business is spending. Business can take advantage of business-exclusive pricing and quantity discounts, and Business Prime Shipping. All of this is added to the selection, convenience and value customers expect from Amazon.
We are looking for an experienced leader to develop and lead marketing activities for B2B business. You will have overall responsibility for awareness of “Amazon Business” , finding and identifying potential business customers, generating high quality of leads to Inside sales, even navigating them to self service registration landing page and finally onboarding and engagement. Those activities are mainly through online channels such as SEO optimization, display ad, e-mailing, but also generating leads through offline chennels, such as trade show, seminars, magazine, etc.
The ideal candidate will be results oriented and also have the ability to innovate and design processes to engage with our business customers. You will be expected to solve complex problems in an ambiguous and dynamic environment, and a proven track record in creating a highly effective team is a must. Key job functions are:
· Own overall awareness and customer acquisition functions. Develop and manage traffic through both online & offline
· Design customer acquisition processes that address the various customer segments including sole propriators, small businesses, large enterprises, end-user and senior procurement executives, verticals such as education, health care, government, commercial, etc.
· Establish operational metrics and reporting to manage traffic, acquisition channels, account management performance
· Hire, coach and develop a customer-centric B2B Marketing team who drive most effective marketing with automation.
