Job Description

Amazon Fresh Japan is seeking a talented Senior Marketing Manager to manage and execute programs across various marketing channels, with a primary goal of driving customer engagement and retention. Success in this role requires a strong analytical foundation, and the ability to execute daily at the highest level.

This is an opportunity to directly influence and grow an online grocery business in Japan. It requires a leader who will think and act big, exercising a bias for action coupled with thoughtful experimentation. The ideal candidate has strong product vision with unparalleled customer instincts and an ability to influence diverse teams. S/he will balance creativity with analytics and agility with operational discipline. S/he should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be comfortable diving deep into the data, yet able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities.

Key responsibilities include:
· Create marketing and communication plans across multiple channels to maximize customer engagement with Amazon Fresh
· Drive customer engagement through targeted marketing and merchandising to increase order frequency and volume
· Leverage A/B experimentation to manage performance, drive channel and campaign optimization and identify key drivers of trends in the customer behavior
· Develop and execute customer retention and churn management strategies
· Liaise closely with the product development teams to drive innovation aimed at improving customer experience
· Closely monitor customer feedback/needs through surveys and research

Basic Qualifications

· 5+ years of relevant work experience in online B-to-C marketing, and online merchandising
· Extreme attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
· Demonstrated history of success in data intensive quantitative analysis and ability to use metrics to back up assumptions/concepts
· Willingness to roll up your sleeves
· English language (business level)
· Advanced Excel skills (data analysis using PIVOT, VLOOKUP)
· Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in managing CRM program
· Experience in writing SQL
· MBA in a related field
